Job summary

Wayne Farms seeks a hands-on operator to supervise offal screening, DAF, sludge production/dewatering, and chemical mixing/injection systems. PPE must be worn at all times and compliance with company policies and animal welfare guidelines is required.

The role involves running pumps and valves, assisting with wastewater processes, and coordinating with drivers for trailer movements, with emphasis on safety and reliability in a poultry processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relative poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offal equipment and related machinery operations.
• Monitor trailer/tanker fill levels and move assets as needed.
• Operate jockey truck to relocate trailers and tankers.
• Supervise wastewater equipment and chemical handling.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping of work zones and tools.
• Coordinate with third-party drivers for pickups/deliveries.
• Adhere to Safety & Environmental policies and PPE rules.
