Responsibilities

• Conducts regular safety inspections of facilities and safety equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

• Coordinates and conducts staff and volunteer training on safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Escalates violations and non-compliance to appropriate leadership.Coordinates the performance of fire, abduction and tornado drills for main campus and off-site locations.Education Requirement:Associate's Degree in Healthcare Safety, Environmental Safety, Fire Science, related field, equivalent professional experience in lieu of a formal degree, required.Licensure Requirement:Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
