Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The role focuses on overseeing multiple production lines on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have automotive manufacturing background, strong leadership, and the ability to drive improvements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred, especially in a Tier 1 supplier.
• Experience managing multiple production lines in a high-volume facility.
• Background in metal stamping, heavy fabrication, or automotive structural components is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a union manufacturing environment is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during second or third shift.
• Lead, train, and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor schedules, staffing, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to address challenges.
• Track production metrics like efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Manage attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate updates and shift performance to plant leadership.
