Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Off-Shift Millwright in Whitehall, MI to perform maintenance and repair, including pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and belt/sheave alignment. The position is full-time, on-site, with starting rate $34.20/hour and top rate $39.00/hour.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and extensive millwright experience or an approved apprenticeship; must be able to work in confined spaces and pass respirator fit testing. Howmet offers strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of millwright/machine repair experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship program.
• Ability to pass respirator fit testing and maintain a clean-shaven face for respirator seal.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair including pipefitting, welding, fabrication, belts and sheave alignment.
• Work safely in confined spaces and with respirators as required.
