Job summary

Rogers Group Boone Quarry in Verona, KY seeks an Off-road Haul Truck Driver for a day shift (6:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.). Wages start at $23.00/hr for entry level candidates; experience preferred and pay based on experience.

Responsibilities include operating haul trucks, performing inspections, and assisting with basic maintenance while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous experience operating both articulating haul trucks and/or rigid frame haul trucks is preferred.
• Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.

• Operate equipment on varying terrain and in diverse weather conditions with consistent attention to safety and control.
• Follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Day shift - approximate shift times: 6:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Wages starting at $23.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Candidates with mining experience will be preferred. Some positions require no experience and Rogers Group will train. Pay will be determined based on experience.
