Job summary

Barton Malow seeks an OFCI Project Engineer for a mission critical project near Philadelphia, PA. This on-site, full-time role owns the owner furnished, contractor installed equipment program, coordinating procurement tracking, delivery windows, laydown, rigging, handoff, and turnover.

You will serve as the interface between owner vendors, the Barton Malow field team, and installing trade partners, aiming to avoid surprises and ensure equipment is delivered, received, documented, and warranties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 2–5 years in construction project engineering, logistics, or materials management, with OFCI experience preferred.
• Experience reading structural, architectural, or mechanical/electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the owner furnished, contractor installed equipment log as the single source of truth.
• Tracks procurement status with owner vendors, including submittals and delivery dates.
• Plans and manages delivery windows in coordination with the Superintendent.
• Manages laydown and staging areas to align with the construction schedule.
• Coordinates rigging and setting plans with field team and subcontractors.
• Manages installation handoff and scope boundaries between owner and installing subcontractor.
• Interfaces daily with owner vendors, field team, and installing trade partners to keep information aligned.
• Identifies delivery risk early and escalates to Project Manager and owner as needed.
• Manages receiving, inspections, and documentation for shipments and claims.
• Assembles warranty docs and closeout materials.
