Job summary

Barton Malow Company seeks a Project Engineer for a data center project near Philadelphia, PA. This role will plan, develop, coordinate, supervise, and monitor onsite construction engineering activities, acting as a liaison with architects, engineers, and owners on progress and changes to ensure smooth execution.

Responsibilities include issue tracking, document control, submittals/RFI processing, bid-doc distribution, meeting minutes, site logistics, safety enforcement, and change order

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
• 1+ years of documented Mission Critical - Data Center experience from inception to completion.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or related construction internship experience.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be self-directed in problem-solving.
• Proactive attitude with commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
• Manage all project document control.
• Process submittals and RFI’s.
• Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
• Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
• Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
• Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
• Receive and review/evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
• Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.
