Job summary

Clark is seeking a Project Engineer to join the project team and manage the procurement, tracking, and lifecycle of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment. You will coordinate with Project Managers on purchasing, scoping, and take-offs, and prepare submittals to ensure compliance with plans and specs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years experience as an engineer, project engineer, or similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication; alignment with Clark Standards of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement, tracking, coordination, and lifecycle of OFCI equipment.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on purchasing, scoping, and take-offs.
• Prepare and review submittals; ensure compliance with plans/specs.
• Support project schedule development and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead development of project plans and monitor material deliveries.
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Manager and Superintendent; draft change orders.
• Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers; perform scope take-offs and cost estimates.
• Lead project close-out; assemble manuals and warranties; prepare final payment docs.
• Develop and lead training sessions for team and trade partners; own document management tools.
