Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a Director of Sales, OEM (West) to lead strategic OEM accounts from a home-office in California, Nevada, or Texas. You will develop and execute account plans, drive OEM revenue, and manage an indirect dealer network while building executive relationships with OEM and dealer leadership.

The role requires 8+ years selling to OEMs, 3-5 years leading teams, deep automotive tech knowledge, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years direct experience selling to executive level OEM decision makers.
• 3-5 years leading successful sales and account management teams.
• Automotive technology expertise with an understanding of dynamics between OEMs and retailers.
• Willingness to travel regularly and be on-site with OEM clients.

Responsibilities

• Build OEM account plans and team objectives to achieve annual targets.
• Establish and maintain executive level OEM relationships and negotiate requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product and marketing for OEM priorities.
• Oversee complex OEM dealer programs and drive dealer penetration.
