Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a Director of Sales, OEM (West) for a home-office role based in California, Nevada, or Texas. You will lead OEM account plans, build executive relationships, and drive multi-component programs with cross-functional partners. The role requires strong data-driven selling, contract negotiation, and travel to OEM client sites.

You will manage both direct OEM revenue and dealer program success, aligning with CDK priorities and driving growth across an enterprise sales portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years direct experience selling to executive level OEM decision makers.
• 3-5 years leading successful sales and account management teams.
• Automotive technology expertise with OEM-retailer dynamics.
• Knowledge of OEM governed dealer programs, incentives, and requirements.
• Strong technology aptitude with product planning and development cycles.
• Proven ability to use data and insights to manage client expectations and sell solutions.
• Ability to manage large, complex contract negotiations and SOWs.

Responsibilities

• Build OEM account plans and team objectives to meet annual targets.
• Establish executive-level OEM relationships and negotiate OEM requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams with product, marketing, and finance input.
• Drive OEM dealer program penetration and optimize performance dashboards.
• Develop business cases and negotiate terms with clients and executives.
• Travel regularly to meet OEM clients and maintain in-person presence.
