Job summary

Thorlabs in Newton, NJ seeks an OEM Sales Coordinator I to provide full administrative and sales support to our OEM customer base. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales Teams, Project Managers, and Engineers to present Thorlabs’ capabilities and ensure a smooth customer experience.

The role requires managing quotes, orders, invoicing issues, and internal coordination. Hours are 11:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with potential duties at other Thorlabs locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar and progressive position preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in project teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in a customer-centric environment and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, process sales orders, handle invoicing issues, and answer queries from OEM customers.
• Manage OEM quotes and orders; coordinate with Order Fulfilment Team, Business Units, and distribution center.
• Maintain customer quotes, orders, and familiarity with purchase contracts for OEM customers.
• Ensure timely order fulfilment and meet customer expectations in collaboration with internal teams.
• Perform various administrative tasks using ERP/CRM systems and MS Office tools.
