Job summary

East West Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager – OEM Motors to drive growth by developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and aligning product capabilities with customer needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate timelines and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience interacting with all levels of an organization (including C-level).
• Ability to engage customers in a technical sales context and drive the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Grow business within existing OEM accounts by identifying needs and ensuring solutions meet objectives.
• Acquire and manage new OEM motor customers, following up on leads from marketing.
• Promote and sell Vertex EC motors and East West’s broader product portfolio.
• Manage strategic OEM accounts in fan, blower, and pump markets; be primary customer contact.
• Collaborate with East West sales reps; conduct joint calls with customers/prospects.
• Visit customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Support urgent customer requests and escalations (quality, AR, credit).
• Collaborate daily with project teams in Atlanta and overseas including NPI Project Engineers and Sourcing Engineers.
• Attend project initiation meetings and assist PMs with charters.
• Coordinate sample shipments with PMs.
• Develop margin strategies and prepare quotations with leadership/PMs.
• Maintain costed BOMs and coordinate purchase orders with suppliers and units.
