The role requires 3+ years in industrial sales, a strong automation background, and a drive to expand the business while delivering tailored engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial sales experience.
• Strong automation or controls background.
• Ability to relate across maintenance, engineering, purchasing, management, and exec leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Genuine drive to grow a territory and own results.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell AIC's products, services, and engineering capabilities across automation applications.
• Develop regional and core accounts by pursuing new opportunities and nurturing relationships.
• Research local markets to identify opportunities and competitive activity; plan revenue growth.
• Create a target account business plan with sales strategy and priorities.
• Build rapport with customers and understand their operations and profit drivers.
• Develop and present the best automation solution for each customer application.
• Collaborate with engineering, inside sales, and production to propose optimum solutions.
• Define and develop the best technical solution with staffing, budget, and feasibility in mind.
• Ensure opportunities are profitable before quoting.
• Coordinate with inside sales to align project costs with pricing; obtain ECOs as needed.
• Prepare product/service quotations for potential customers.
• Negotiate price, schedule, terms to close profitable deals.
• Create operating agreements for key accounts (stocking, kitting, production).
• Build relationships with manufacturing partners and AIC engineering to deliver consistently.
• Maintain long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
• Record accounts, contracts, and sales activities in CRM daily.
