Job summary

Hamilton Company seeks an OEM Automation Engineer to provide remote and on-site applications support, technical support, and training to OEM customers. You will develop protocols, optimize liquid handling performance, and document applications while traveling as needed to customer sites.

The role reports to the OEM Automation Engineering Manager and collaborates with R&D and project teams to ensure successful customer outcomes. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or computer science required.
Experience with programming languages and computer knowledge desired.
Experience with laboratory automation, scientific application, and/or laboratory bench sciences preferred.
Experience training and troubleshooting in a technical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and tests application-specific protocols for OEM customers or Hamilton teams.
Optimizes liquid handling performance for OEM applications.
Documents applications developed for a project.
Troubleshoots, tests, and creates programming tools for OEM customers.
Travels to OEM customer sites to provide or maintain support.
