Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) seeks an Oculoplastics Team Lead to oversee the OA/Scribe team and ensure efficient patient work-ups, scheduling, and documentation. The role includes coordinating clinic flow, managing supplies, and supporting surgeons with scribes and training.

Strong leadership, clear communication, and teamwork are essential across AVP’s ophthalmology practices. Travel to BDP clinics, including Flagstaff, is required.

Qualifications

• Certified COA or COT preferred.
• Experience supervising clinical operations preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to train and mentor other technicians and scribes.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient work-ups and aids senior clinical staff as needed.
• Act as surgeon scribe and support injections or procedures.
• Manage patient flow and determine next patient from waiting room.
• Maintain inventory of clinic supplies and order as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling with providers and clinic operations.
• Provide back-up support and contribute to training materials.
