Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) seeks a Clinic Manager to oversee daily operational functions at an ophthalmology clinic. You will lead staff, enforce policies, manage schedules, and communicate departmental activities to the team to drive top performance.

You will develop a high-performing, service-oriented team, foster relationships with providers, and contribute to community outreach and growth initiatives. A BS degree is preferred and strong financial skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor of Science degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience managing a medical practice.
• 5+ years medical practice management experience preferred.
• Strong financial aptitude and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily tasks and workload assignments for the clinic.
• Reviews and approves employee time cards and time off requests.
• Trains, coaches and mentors staff for ongoing development.
• Hires and sets salary recommendations aligned with goals.
• Responsible for profitability and budget development of the clinic.
• Monitors clinic and surgery schedules and maintains relationships with providers.
