Job summary

TransMedics Group, Inc. is seeking an OCS Specialist to maximize and support the Organ Care System for organ retrieval and transport before, during, and after transplantation.

You will complete rigorous hands-on training, certify across organ platforms, and apply OCS knowledge in real-time. The role requires travel, remote work options when not on call, and close collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS degree with 2+ years’ ICU/ECMO/Cath Lab/OR/Transplant/ED experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Office software and virtual meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on OCS training and certification at TransMedics facility.
• Apply OCS knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport, and assessment.
• Support OCS operations remotely or on-site as required.
• Manage inventory and shipments weekly.
• Assist with lab trainings and participate in R&D activities.
• Communicate updates to Organ Management via support channels.
• Contribute to post-case documentation and case reviews.
