Job summary

TransMedics, Inc. is seeking an OCS Specialist to maximize the Organ Care System use for organ retrieval and transport before, during, and after transplantation.

Role involves hands-on training at the MA facility, field support including inventory management, and collaboration with transplant centers across regions. You must be able to lift 75lbs and be vaccinated, with on-call availability and potential travel across the US.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS degree with 2+ years' ICU/Transplant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on OCS training and certification.
• Apply OCS knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport and assessment.
• Perform assigned tasks during standard hours and remote work as needed.
• Manage inventory and shipments weekly; assist Lab Trainings and R&D.
• Participate in conferences and communicate with Organ Management.
• Provide customer support and post-case documentation.
