Job summary

Forum Communications Printing is seeking a full-time OCR/Driver associate to assist with the daily OCR operation, drive a mail pickup route, and deliver materials to the Post Office with a Single Axle Box Truck. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 11:00am to 6:30pm, about 35 hours per week.

The role requires Windows skills, dependability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Safety, customer service, and vehicle upkeep are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows required.
• Must be focused and dependable.
• Knowledge of the service/delivery area is beneficial.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.

Responsibilities

• OCR operation: feeding, monitoring, sweeping bins, quality control, and stock supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas per policies.
• Operate company vehicles for pick-up and delivery to the Post Office.
• Sort, load, unload, and secure items for processing with attention to safety.
• Provide professional customer service on routes and document delivery status.
