Job summary

VITRONIC Machine Vision Inc. seeks an experienced Oracle DBA/Cloud Engineer to own day-to-day OCI platform operations. The role focuses on Oracle Autonomous Database administration, DR planning, and automation, while maintaining CJIS/SOC2 controls and audit readiness.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Product teams to drive operational excellence, deploy infrastructure as code, and ensure high availability of mission-critical services in OCI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in DBA/cloud roles operating Oracle databases in production.
• Hands-on with OCI core services, Autonomous DB, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate; scripting with Python/Bash.
• Experience implementing HA/DR, backup/restore, and security controls for regulated/PII data.

Responsibilities

• Operate OCI environments meeting contractual SLAs.
• Design and improve OCI infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Automate provisioning, maintenance, reporting, backups, patching, and workflows.
• Administer Oracle databases including Data Guard, RMAN, tuning, and recovery testing.
• Support CJIS, Nlets, and SOC 2 controls and audit readiness.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, DevOps, and Operations.
