Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI and hybrid environments, including identity management, vulnerability programs, and incident response. The role requires hands-on OCI expertise, scripting skills in Python/Bash and Terraform, and familiarity with CIS benchmarks and regulatory requirements.

Remote, full-time with US-focused coverage and strong collaboration across product and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and identity federation.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native security frameworks and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching tooling.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Scripting: Python, Bash, and Terraform.
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate security controls across OCI, OCI Cloud Applications, and hybrid environments.
• Define security architecture and harden cloud workloads.
• Manage identity and access, lead vulnerability and compliance programs.
• Respond to security incidents and mentor junior engineers.
