Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Solutions Architect to design and operate large-scale OCI environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This remote role will own the full engineering lifecycle from landing zones to cost optimization and observability.

You will collaborate with DevOps and security teams, implement IaC with Terraform, and mentor engineers to deliver secure, scalable cloud platforms for mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong hands-on OCI
• Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code experience
• Solid OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database skills
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE)
• CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads
• Python and Bash scripting
• Strong security, IAM, and compliance understanding
• Observability tooling and incident response
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade OCI landing zones and tenancy structures.
• Design OCI networking topologies (VCNs, subnets, gateways, FastConnect, VPN).
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform with version control and validation.
• Implement IAM policies and RBAC using OCI Identity Domains.
• Design and operate OCI compute and storage services for varied workloads.
• Operate OCI database services in collaboration with DBA teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Implement observability with OCI Monitoring/Logging/APM and integrations.
• Drive cost optimization and architectural simplification.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity across OCI regions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud communities.
