The Shore Room at Hyatt in Oceanside is hiring a Server Assistant to support the dining team with guest selections and presenting food and beverage preferences. This part-time role offers a competitive benefits package and requires a helpful, guest-focused attitude.

Responsibilities include rolling silverware, clearing tables, running food and drinks, and assisting new hires as needed. Weekend availability is required; the position may involve other outlets based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (~25 pounds).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• 1+ year experience in F&B.
• Must be available weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers with guest selections and present food and beverage preferences.
• Support daily duties such as rolling silverware, clearing tables, and running food and drinks.
• Assist with side work, cleaning measures, and compliance trainings as needed.
• Attend meetings and help new hires at Shore Room.
• Assist guests with questions related to The Mission Pacific Beach Resort or The Seabird Resort.
• May assist other Hyatt outlets depending on business needs.
