Job summary

Hyatt Regency La Jolla is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Food Servers and deliver an exceptional guest experience at our Bay-area hotel in La Jolla. The role requires strong communication and the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, with open availability including weekends and holidays.

Candidate should be able to work early mornings and collaborate with team members across F&B outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong collaboration with colleagues and management.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in providing prompt and courteous service to guests.
• Carry full trays up and down stairs as needed.
• Replace propane tanks for patio heaters.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
