Job summary

Green Worldwide Shipping in Woodbridge is seeking a dedicated Import Coordinator with 4-5 years of experience in air/ocean imports. You will own the consignment from start to finish, negotiate rates with steamship lines and carriers, and coordinate documentation for compliant import/export activities.

The role rewards attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication with internal teams, vendors and clients as part of a collaborative, growth-minded logistics team.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in imports, shipping, transportation or related field.
• Knowledge of ocean (FCL & LCL) imports handling is a must.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate market opportunities to provide best-in-class transport solutions.
• Negotiate rates with steamship lines and carriers to maximize value.
• Prepare and coordinate documentation for efficient, compliant import/export activities.
• Provide outstanding service to clients, agents, vendors, and colleagues.
• Communicate shipping instructions clearly to overseas partners and clients.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
