Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import to manage import operations by ocean, including customs clearance, carrier booking, cargo tracking, and delivery to the final destination.

You will coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation. The role requires knowledge of ocean freight logistics, compliance with trade laws, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in ocean imports is highly desirable
• Fluency in English is required

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers as needed
• Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• Manage relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service
