Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Ocean Import to manage import/export activities and ensure seamless logistics execution. You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, and trucking firms, handle customs clearance, and maintain proactive communication with customers.

The role requires experience in ocean freight, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with applicable trade laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior freight forwarding/logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with ocean import/export desirable.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean import operations including customs clearance and delivery.
• Manage ocean export including carrier booking and routing.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and trucking firms for on-time delivery.
• Prepare and submit customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Track shipments and provide regular customer updates.
• Maintain relationships with customers and internal teams for service delivery.
