Job summary

Grupo Altius is seeking an Ocean Import/Export Operations Coordinator in the Freight Forwarding and Transportation industry. The role involves coordinating pre-alert documents for ocean shipments and managing AMS/ISF transmissions while aligning local and international orders with transportation providers.

You will generate pre-alerts, handle billing communications with customers, and track milestones, income, and expenses across files upon arrival, working within a team that values service

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean import/export operations (3–5 years appreciated, but not required).
• College degree in International Logistics or Shipping.
• Intermediate to advanced English (spoken and written).
• Open and eager to learn new operations and tasks.
• Strong team player with collaboration and mutual support.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Generate and coordinate pre-alert transportation documents for ocean import and export operations with multiple Incoterms.
• Handle AMS and ISF electronic transmissions.
• Arrange and coordinate local and international orders for transportation.
• Invoicing and sending pre-alerts to customers/consignees regarding ETD/ETA.
• Ensure milestones, income, and expenses are properly recorded in each file upon arrival.
