We are hiring for an Ocean Import Coordinator

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay: $25 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job type: Temp-to-hire

We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Ocean Import Coordinator to support import shipments and deliver responsive service to customers. In this role, you'll coordinate with origin offices, customers, and internal teams to help shipments move accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Confirm shipment details with origin offices to initiate shipments.
• Receive and review customer orders and shipping documents, including SLI, EIN, and credit applications.
• Verify fees, customer profiles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and shipping rates against quotes and customer instructions.
• Monitor shipment progress, review pre-alerts, and share handling instructions with operations.
