Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in ocean imports and supervisory roles desirable.
Responsibilities
Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including carrier selection, booking, and transportation.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and service providers.
Address and resolve customer inquiries to maintain satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
Stay updated on changes in ocean freight regulations and import controls.
Develop policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance satisfaction.
Monitor and report on KPI such as cargo delivery times and costs.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
