Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in ocean import and export highly desirable.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and movement through various transportation channels.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare, process, and submit documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other paperwork.
• Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with regular status updates.
• Manage customer relationships and address concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations departments.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and other relevant requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
