Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced freight forwarder to coordinate ocean exports from the Atlanta area. You will prepare and process customs clearance documents, track shipments, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments.

The role requires knowledge of ocean freight logistics, regulatory compliance, and precise documentation. Strong communication skills and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in ocean exports is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred.
