Job summary

You will arrange transport with carriers, prepare export documentation, communicate status to clients, coordinate with sales, and issue rate quotations for LCL/FCL/RO/RO and Breakbulk cargo. Requires 3–5 years of related experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; AS400 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or 3–5 years’ related experience.
• Completion of any other industry related course is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Arranges transport of cargo with carriers, vendors, trucking companies, warehouses, and packing facilities.
• Plans for and utilizes the optimum cargo route based on client needs.
• Keeps clients and partners informed of transport arrangements and status from departure to arrival.
• Coordinates with sales personnel to ensure quality services.
• Prepares and issues rate quotations for LCL, FCL, RO/RO and Breakbulk cargo.
• Files AES in the internal system and prepares required export documentation.
• Ensures invoicing and reflects costs in projected gross profits; assists with A/R as needed.
