Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus related coursework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CargoWise or similar systems.
• 1–2 years of Ocean Export experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create quotes for ocean export shipments with steam ship lines and trucking.
• Book shipments with steam lines and coordinate trucking for pickup and loading.
• Enter Master SLI, create HBL and customer invoices.
• Prealert shipments to destination agents and provide ADM with final HBLs and invoices.
• Enter AP invoices and maintain ADM rate sheet.
• Provide vessel updates to customers and truckers.
• Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch truckers for bookings.
• Negotiate rates as needed.
• Prepare shipment documentation in CargoWise and ensure compliance.
• Respond to customer inquiries with status updates and proofs of delivery.
