Job summary

Pacific Coast Post Acute in Salinas, CA is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Technician who will assist with non-clinical tasks to boost rehab efficiency, support equipment management, patient transport, and coordination with therapy staff.

You will help monitor filed rehabilitation documentation under supervisor guidance, maintain a safe treatment environment per infection control and safety protocols, and participate in team trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read procedures and policy manuals.
• Able to compute fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Capable of solving practical problems and following instructions.
• Must be able to stand, walk frequently and lift heavy objects when moving patients or equipment (up to 100+ lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments according to goals.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors and therapy staff as directed.
• Transport and prepare patients and equipment as directed by therapists.
• Complete logs and forms accurately as directed by supervisor.
• Participate in team meetings, rehab training, and community programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
