Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct, hands-on therapeutic interventions.
• Address ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, endurance, cognition, and safety.
• Train patients in adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with PT, ST, nursing, physicians, and other professionals.
• Prepare patients for safe transitions home or to next level of care.
