The Program Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee accreditation, and recruit faculty, contributing to teaching, scholarship, and service at UNCG. Tenure-track or tenured, 12-month appointment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from a US-accredited institution.
• Initial certification as an occupational therapist and NC licensure eligibility.
• Minimum eight years of occupational therapy clinical and related experience.
• Four or more years as a faculty member with teaching responsibilities.
• Experience in academic administration, including program planning, personnel management, evaluation, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the MSOT program, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Serve as the ACOTE-designated Program Director responsible for accreditation compliance.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment, and student success initiatives.
• Recruit, supervise, and support faculty to ensure excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Teach occupational therapy courses, maintain a research agenda, and engage in service.
