This senior position oversees strategic planning, accreditation, curriculum design, assessment, and faculty development to advance the MSOT program.

Candidates will bring a doctoral degree, OT licensure eligibility in North Carolina, and substantial postsecondary teaching and administrative experience, including program budgeting and personnel

Qualifikationen

• Initial certification as an occupational therapist and eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
• Earned doctoral degree from a U.S. Department of Education–recognized accredited institution.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of documented experience in occupational therapy, including clinical practice.
• At least four (4) years of experience as a faculty member with postsecondary teaching responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience in academic administration, including program planning, personnel management, evaluation, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of ACOTE accreditation standards and processes.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the MSOT program, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Serve as the ACOTE-designated Program Director responsible for achieving, maintaining, and documenting accreditation compliance.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement to ensure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Recruit, supervise, and support faculty to ensure excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Teach occupational therapy courses, maintain an active research agenda, and engage in institutional and professional service.
