Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is hiring for an Associate or Full Professor in Occupational Therapy to lead the MSOT program within the School of Health and Human Sciences. The Program Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee accreditation, curriculum design, and faculty development, and contribute to teaching, research, and service.

Qualified candidates will hold a doctoral degree, OT certification with NC licensure eligibility, and have extensive experience in

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from a USDE-recognized accredited institution.
• Initial certification as an occupational therapist with licensure eligibility in North Carolina.
• At least eight years of documented OT experience including clinical practice.
• At least four years as a faculty member with teaching responsibilities.
• Experience in ACOTE accreditation standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the MSOT program, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Achieve and maintain ACOTE accreditation compliance and documentation.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment, and student success initiatives.
• Recruit, supervise, and develop faculty to ensure teaching excellence.
• Teach OT courses; maintain a research agenda and engage in service.
