Qualifications

• Initial certification as an occupational therapist and licensure eligibility in NC.
• PhD/OTD/EdD or equivalent from a US-accredited institution.
• Eight+ years of OT experience including clinical practice.
• Four+ years as a faculty member with teaching responsibilities.
• Experience in academic administration, program planning, budgeting.
• Knowledge of ACOTE accreditation standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and administrative leadership for the MSOT program, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Serve as the ACOTE-designated Program Director responsible for accreditation compliance.
• Lead curriculum design, assessment, and student success initiatives.
• Recruit, supervise, and support faculty for teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Teach occupational therapy courses, maintain a research agenda, and engage in service.
