Job summary

CCBC invites applications for Adjunct Faculty Occupational Therapy Lab Assistants. You will create lab activities, help run multidisciplinary simulations, coordinate with the course instructor, and attend department meetings.

Adjunct Level 1 pays $1,085 per credit hour, with up to 22 credits taught per year. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, OTR, Maryland license, and 3+ years experience with physical dysfunction and COTAs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program/university.
  • Must be an OTR.
  • Must hold a Maryland license.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in physical dysfunction, adult rehabilitation.
  • Must have 3+ years of experience working with COTAs.

Responsibilities

  • Creating lab activities that support and reinforce the lecture content of the course under the direction of the Course Instructor.
  • Involved in the planning and running of several multidisciplinary simulations each semester.
  • Cooperate with College support staff by timely submission of materials as required and coordinate activities with the Department Coordinator and lead course instructor.
  • Attend department meetings, participate in professional development and be available to students outside of class.

Adjunct Faculty Occupational Therapy Lab Assistants are responsiblefor:
