Job summary

Lionstone Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapists in planning and delivering patient-centered care. The role includes facilitating Telehealth, documentation, and collaboration with care teams to ensure timely evaluations and discharges.

You will assist in home program instruction, adaptive equipment use, and participate in care conferences and assessments, under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning, development, organization, evaluation, and directing of occupational therapy activities.
• Facilitate Telehealth services to ensure timely evaluations, recertifications, progress notes, and discharges.
• Assist in maintaining occupational therapy standards of practice and department policies.
• Interpret procedures to staff and residents; participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
• Instruct residents and families in home programs and use of adaptive equipment.
• Ensure notes are descriptive, compliant, and reflect resident response to care.
