Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Illinois is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to help treat patients and follow individualized plans of care.

As part of the rehab team, you will assist with all phases of therapy, document progress, and communicate with therapists and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
