Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in North Aurora, IL, seeks an occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will assist in implementing personalized plans of care and help patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

You will discuss treatments with patients, record responses after each visit, communicate with the supervising OT and rehab director, and operate standard OT equipment as part of a collaborative rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
