Enhance Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Illinois. You will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to support treatment plans and patient care, assisting with all phases of therapy and documenting patient progress.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes and proper use of standard OT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
