Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/OTA) to assist the Occupational Therapist with resident care in the Rehabilitation Department. The role focuses on delivering direct resident care, documentation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team to support treatment goals and discharge planning.

The assistant will maintain safety and infection control, participate in care conferences, and educate residents and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care software.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Continue education requirements per state practices.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
• Assist nursing with training of Restorative Aides.
