Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist in delivering resident-centered care. This role focuses on direct resident care, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in care conferences, and assist in training Restorative Aides while educating residents and families on goals and home programs.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home programs.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides.
