Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN work at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows, Laurel Fork, VA. Qualifications

• Must have an accredited OTA program degree.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of COTA experience preferred.
• Implements treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required

• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required

• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT

• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
