Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Florissant, MO seeks a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support skilled nursing residents with therapeutic interventions under OT supervision. This role emphasizes one-on-one patient care, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within a therapist- and veteran-owned culture.

You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, and maintain accurate EMR

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program and NBCOT certification.
• Active state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to document accurately and maintain HIPAA/CMS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct patient care per state and facility guidelines.
• Monitor and document resident progress and report changes to the OT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain EMR documentation and participate in care/discharge planning.
