Job summary

The Monarch School and Institute is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services under a licensed occupational therapist. The role focuses on activities of daily living, sensory integration, and play skills for students with neurological differences.

Responsibilities include documentation, program development support, and training interns. The position reports to the Coordinator of Therapy Services Team and involves direct student care on campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program or OT program.
• Current Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners (TBOTE) license as an OTA.
• NBCOT certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Documents findings, progress and instruction to clients and caregivers.
• Assists with program development and with departmental operations.
• Provides training and guidance to students and interns.
• Reports to the Coordinator of Therapy Services Team.
• Assists with OT services delivery and monitors client progress.
